TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language and TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. TESOL is the most common one in Korea. It is also called as TESL - Teaching English as Second Language mostly in the US.

As a prospective English teacher, you should have at least B2 level English in all language skills (especially in speaking). You will be asked to send a voice messages as an audio response to several questions and there might be a phone conversation later on if it's needed.
You can apply for any English teaching jobs whether onsite or online after you successfully complete your online TESOL course and teaching practice. You will also receive a British English Board Approval Letter with your TESOL certificate and transcript.
